So i've been out of dA for quite a while, or at very best somewhere on the periphery, occasionally submitting various thingies, doodads and whatchamacallits, but never really doing too much.
and i think i kinda wanna get back into the whole dA thing.
but damn, it's harder than you might think.
so yeah.
I am actually around.
in the next few months, plan on seeing more of my work going up, including(possibly!) some older stuff that i have only recently decided that i like. we'll see how it goes.
umm...other news...i'm gonna graduate soon. which is nice and all, except that i'm still working at a coffee shop.
Ryan needs a real job. Any thoughts?

So yeah, i'm finally able to post some new pieces...not the kind of stuff that i'd like to be able to do, and i really don't feel like i'm using my abilities or resources to their fullest, but well...i don't know.
Anyway, i got a new DSLR, so updates will be coming much more quickly now...I'm working on putting together a studio, and hopefully that won't take too much longer, so hopefully i'll be able to do more stuff eventually.

I'm gonna get my ass kicked for saying this, probably by one of the people i'm complaining about.
"You can complain about the military all you want, but we're the reason you have that freedom."
Oh, really. Who, exactly, are you keeping from stripping me of that freedom, self righteous uptight military jackass?
Seeing as how there's no real link between hussein and bin laden, and, in any event, you guys are doing a shit job of finding his half-dead ass anyway.
The last time I checked, World War II was the closest we got to an invading army even coming close to America, and none of you little cocky military asshats can claim credit for anything there.

If you want to defend my freedoms, why aren't you sending the military to the White House?

I want a guitar

I'd really like an electric guitar.
But, I'm broke.
I have a Nikon FM10 film SLR camera, and a 35-70 lens though, that I wouldn't mind parting with if anyone had a decent guitar they didn't mind parting with.
Given, of course, that this camera is listed for $250 brand new on B&H, and it's definitely not brand new, I figure a proper trade would be a guitar worth somewhere in the range of $200 or so.
I mean, I won't turn down a gibson or american fender if you really want to hand it off on me, but just so you know what's up.
Any questions, comments, whatever, drop me a line.
